Every dollar you give funds real work already happening on Oaxaca's coast - sea turtle patrols, wildlife rehabilitation, and the community teams protecting one of the most important nesting corridors on Earth.

Oaxaca Marine Conservation was founded to close a simple gap: the people already protecting this coastline — biologists, rescue centers, community patrol teams have the knowledge and the will, but not consistent funding. We exist to fix that.

Contributions go directly toward:

Wildlife rehabilitation — medicine, veterinary supplies, and equipment for injured and recovering sea turtles
Nesting beach protection — supporting the community patrol teams who monitor and defend nesting sites through the season
Field capacity — equipment, transportation, and infrastructure that let existing local teams do more with what they already have

A note on where you're giving: Oaxaca Marine Conservation is a newly launched initiative, currently completing the legal registration process required to operate formally in Mexico. We've chosen to begin funding urgent, on-the-ground needs now rather than wait. Every gift today goes directly to the partner organizations named on this site. Because our registration is still in progress, gifts made are not yet tax-deductible. We publish where every dollar goes on our Financial Transparency, and will notify donors as soon as formal nonprofit status is confirmed.
